Just got "The Call"
I just got off of the phone with Bill Goodman. He just picked up my rifle from Shiloh and is shipping it out to my local gun shop tomorrow.
I'm more excited than a five year old on Christmas Eve!
I went over to Mr. Bagwell's house a couple of weeks ago and got some "magic loads" assembled for it, so I'll have something to break it in with, and start my journey into this new addiction.
I think I'll park my butt in the local gun shop on the anticipated delivery date. Time is too valuable to let that rifle gather dust.

RE: Just got "The Call"
The next few days will be the longest years of my life.
Hartford Model. 45 2.1", 30" heavy octagonal barrel, 7° leade, barrel sights, semi- fancy wood, and brass escutcheons.
I can't wait!

First, what's the secret to posting pictures here?
Second, how will you know how long I've had the rifle in my sweaty hands?
