RE: Just got "The Call"
Well, here she is, resting quietly with her new friends;

It rained here all day, non-stop. Tomorrow I will give her a proper break in. Big Grin

From the National Weather Service website;

"A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. " Sounds like a perfect day!
Overcast, light winds, and only a smidgen of a chance of rain. Big Grin

Beautiful. I've always liked the look of a straight grip stock. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it.

Hey, I like it too. With that Sharps you might need those knives, especially the top one. That one looks like a Randall.

Thanks, Mike. The knife is actually one of the last Ek Hunters that were made by the Ek family before they sold out to BlackJack Knives. Great high carbon steel. It's seen a few caribou, Arctic Hares, ptarmigan, fish, and a couple of East Texas Whitetails.

Thanks, Gary. It's a .45 Colt, one of the first Model 97's built. It is another firearm that I will not get rid of.
