Goex FFFg Express
I've had good results with Goex Express FFg but am nearly out. I have the opportunity to pick up some FFFg Express at a good price. I have not used FFFg in anything. Can anyone recommend this powder? I imagine that fouling would be increased over FFg especially in hot weather?
I shoot a number of different cartridges, from .32-40 on up to .50-90.
Chris.

We DO EXPECT a full report
Gary
As soon as I get it I plan on doing some group size and chrony comparisons with it and the remainder of my FFg Express.

Chris,
Is there any more? I have been using it for nigh on to six years in my 45-70. Mine was from the first '03 lot and I liked it.

I plan on buying the rest of it from my Goex distributor :-). Unfortunately for me he's decided not to bring any Olde E. into B.C. so I'm going to be out of luck with respect to premium powders from then on. I have heard that Alberta should have a supplier for Swiss before too long though.

RE: Goex FFFg Express
Don,
In fact I spoke to Craig at the 'Q' and he told me about that stuff. Assuming one finds themselves at Canadian Customs with Black Powder to declare we are allowed 8 kg. each (17.6 lb.) A 25 lb. bag throws them into a tizzy. Normally I would declare 13 lb. and 12 lb. for Spot if it's in one pound cans. A 25 lb. bag can not be split for declaration purposes so I would be over my limit. That is assuming I found myself at Customs with Black Powder to declare. I can hardly wait to get some test loads together with that Olde E.
Good to see you and Carol again, it was a Grand Time.
Paul
