Too cold to shoot?

RE: Too cold to shoot?
J.B.,

Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time!

Shortly after the new year kicks off I should have a gas furnace installed in my shop and bullet casting will follow! I got the wires run just this week and I'm waiting on the furnace guy to get to it. Getting a temporary gas tank and line run should be pretty easy and quick. Then the gas people can install the a permanent tank and line when things thaw in the spring.

It helps eae the withdrawals!

Every once in a while I shoot a good group and it keeps me going.

...A good group once in a while.. I like that. I shot a good group about 5 years back...and I'm still waiting for it to repeat itself. Perhaps it wasnt a group after all. :-(

I have more than once been amazed how 5 random shots can just happen to impact in what might look like a good group and then never be repeated! Been there, done that. Big Grin

Bigger delay arrived last night and I won't be shooting for a while. 8-10" of white stuff greeted me this morning. Only the black lab pup was excited about it! Might be time to light up Popper (1956 JD crawler, 2 banger).

Jim, if I get 2 feet of snow I will shoot my new rifle when I get it next week Big Grin
Just got a call from DZ Arms telling me my Hepburn is done.
I ordered it August 27th man that is fine service for a custom rifle.
Now the work will begin!!!

Kurt,

I'm looking forward to seeing your DZ Hepburn. I've thought for awhile that a Hepburn in a mid-range/silhouette rifle would be sweet! Pictures will do for now but I want to see it in person this summer. Wink
