40/50 BN
I ordered a 40/50 BN for my wife and sons a year ago in February! I purchased an original pp round and sent it to Orville so he could design a reamer for me! The rifle will shoot a 265 gr pp bullet, 45-50 grains of Fg and have a 1/18 twist! It will be perfect for a Wyoming antelope or deer! If I'm lucky I might be able to break it in this fall!

RE: 40/50 BN
No kidding Dean? So are you loading it like the originals? Are you using the 1/18 twist?
I will give you a report Don when I get it! I think there's going to be a lot of meat made with that little cartridge!

RE: 40/50 BN
ya see I got this here rifle chambered in a non standard sharps ctg and it bothers me , if I turn it into a 40-70 I have to dink with brass , with the 40-50 I just turn 45-70s into them or 45/31/4 which works really well , as it gives the tubing cutter a good purchase, and increases the wall thickness by a couple, this remington rifle we have been working with has a generous chamber , and I really want a tighter neck on it for pp.
