Gary,
What configuration will your new 44-77 be in?  I sure like the looks of the pack hardened receivers. The tan colors really go well with the brown stocks.

Think a Shiloh #1 like my .45-90, in .44-77 would work well for her.
Think'n hvy/half bbl. 28"-30". How well does a rnd bll sit in X-sticks?

LG--A round barrel doesn't do anywhere near as well on sticks as an octagon. It wants to move around quite a bit. Shoot straight, rdnck.
