RE: Jamsion Brass - Lumpy Grits - 08-29-2012 Geeeeeeee, THX Don ![]() Now, with my interest in the .44-77(YOUR fault, too BTW )your not helping my bank account one dang bit...........![]() Gary RE: Jamsion Brass - Don McDowell - 08-29-2012 Do it Gary, you'll be glad you did. Don't let Barb shoot it tho, you'll be having to order another one..... RE: Jamsion Brass - Opencountry - 08-29-2012 Gary, What configuration will your new 44-77 be in? I sure like the looks of the pack hardened receivers. The tan colors really go well with the brown stocks.Robert RE: Jamsion Brass - Lumpy Grits - 08-29-2012 (08-29-2012, 03:35 PM)Don McDowell Wrote: Do it Gary, you'll be glad you did. Don, IF I were to do so....You would have ME as a new house-mate ![]() Scary, HUH ![]() ![]() Gary RE: Jamsion Brass - Don McDowell - 08-29-2012 Yeh maybe better just have her rifle rebarreled.... RE: Jamsion Brass - Lumpy Grits - 08-29-2012 Naw, I want to someday get Barbara her own. Besides, I like that Hartford just the way it is. Gary RE: Jamsion Brass - Don McDowell - 08-29-2012 I think Barb would really enjoy the cartridge, recoil is pretty mild, and so far is pretty danged accurate with just about everything it's been fed. RE: Jamsion Brass - Lumpy Grits - 08-29-2012 Think a Shiloh #1 like my .45-90, in .44-77 would work well for her. Think'n hvy/half bbl. 28"-30". How well does a rnd bll sit in X-sticks? Gary RE: Jamsion Brass - rdnck - 08-29-2012 LG--A round barrel doesn't do anywhere near as well on sticks as an octagon. It wants to move around quite a bit. Shoot straight, rdnck. |
