If I was to change my primer pockets for accuracy I would call RMC and have them make enough cases for a match with small pistol primer pockets.
Somewhere I might still have some .308 Norma brass that have small rifle primer pockets that I used for match and they did improve the accuracy.
I also soldered the flash hole in some of the .50 cases and drilled flash holes like a Berdan primer to see if made a difference, but the boxer primers developed to much pressure and got some blowback using them but they did shrink the groups but where not worth the effort making the conversion.
It's funny how we go through so many different ways to get the best from these rifles. 30 years ago we used magnum primers. Enlarged the flash holes. Now we put paper under the powder and over the primers. Swage flash holes.
Is all of this necessary????
