RE: 50/70 bullets
Mike depending on how old a 515141 Lyman mold you have their diameters differ. My old mold produces a good bullet but best left unsized in 2 different 2 nd Allin conversion guns. In newer Shiloh and C Sharps barrels it has to be sized. A friend picked up a newer 515141 and his bullets dropped at .003" smaller in diameter. Try both sized and lubed and unsized and pan lubed. good luck bobw

I lube through a sizer and usually run 1 -2 thou over bore diameter with .511 being preferred. That way often there is no shearing of the lead at all and just deposits the lube. If it does size then, it is only minimal . Honestly cant say how .510 compares to .512 in my rifle as I havent run that test. Havent fired a round since November and still playing cat & mouse with my 44 at present. Bobs comment about differing mould diameters is interesting also as I've read this before. Apparently the sizing and belling plugs varied in the older manufactured die sets also. I've even found this with sets only a few years old. Some do vary . Good luck with your shoot.

Gavin.
