RE: Anniversary Rifle
Trapper, Getting your wife to shoot with you is probably a real good idea. And a .50/70 will be just as good for the lady. By the way, you mentioned 600 grain bullets in the .50 and if that's what you think you want to shoot then consider getting a .50/90. I got my new .50/70 to be a small rifle and it might weigh under 10 pounds. That new gun gets fired today for the first time. Shoot sharp, Mike

The 44-77, mild recoild, accuracy abounds, and it's just flat cool..Cool

RE: Anniversary Rifle
they aint a one of them ctgs tht is a back burner .... the 50-70 is sweet , mine is an old roller with a cut down barrel , looks like a reservation rifle , shoots bunnys real good , the 50-90 is an oversized chambered farmer and will keep up with the others to the q buff with barrel sights the 44 and 45 2&7/8 are new tight chambered guns , and are super easy to use.they all just work , ,,

RE: Anniversary Rifle
Actually I have been looking at the 50-90, because brass is available. Thinking maybe there is another rifle in the near future. That is what is so appealing Don.
