RE: Cow lot
Good job. I need to get out and start doing some calling, the fur buyer is making his winter routes now and it looks like they're worth around 30$ on the carcass.
Details on the AR?

RE: Cow lot
AR is a DPMS heavy barrel . 223 Wilde chamber. Pentax .223 scope, 4x14, with range cross hairs to 500 yds.

I was sitting, back against a big stump shooting off of a mono pod stick. My buddy was behind me 50 yds and called it in. Chip shot 75 yds.

I have an FN15 A2 that is a good shooter. I got a Burris gift certificate at the nationals a few years ago and used it to get a Burris AR scope. Unfortunately I've yet to mount it on the rifle and sight it in.
Right now we use a Ruger Hawkeye in 223, and a Weatherby vanguard heavy barrel 223 for varminting.

Good work Gussy. Now come on over and clean them out around here. I see them run through my yard once in a while.
By the time I get my .22 from behind the door there gone.
When Fox were thick I used a .22-250 and the .222 with a Shepherd mounted on it that was right on that filled the circle reticles https://proreviewly.com/best-shepherd-scope-review/

RE: Cow lot
Kurt, this was one of the few coyotes that would have been an easy shot with a BPCR. Called and stopped broadside at 75yds. Probably less hide damage too

Gussy Yes, this was a problem with the .222 and the .22-250 more so with the 250 unless it was 300 + yards with a full metal jacket. With the .22-250 about all that was savable were the ears that they gave you a $5. bounty.

Try 40-45 grain hollow points.
