BPTRA Creedmoor Nationals
A good number of shooters faced the heavy winds in hot conditions today at the CRC
Very well run match
Here’s today’s score sheet

Still some pretty respectable scores Don.
Looks like Lucinda put the hurt on everyone. Did she shoot her .40-65?

That Harley she rides must have toughened her up Smile

She did well with it, Jimbo did a great job spotting for her
It was in the upper 80s not long before the first relay got thru at 800 this morning
We had anywhere from 26 minutes left to 12 right just to hold paper on the same target. Mostly a tail wind that at times would drive you down 5 minutes from the normal settings
Pretty sporty

I looked for that range when we headed for home from Colorado Springs with no luck. That area is pretty wide open and I bet those sand hills bring out the mirage.

It’s about 10 miles east and 10 miles north of Beyers, or 25 south of Wiggins

Winds today were mild but really twitchy with sudden reverses and switches. Made for some interesting results with all the firing done from the 1000 yard line.
Robert did a great job putting the match on.
Mark your calendars for this same Sept weekend next year

It was one heck of a match that's for sure! I sure enjoyed myself, mind you, winning the certificate for a new Shiloh sure didn't hurt that's for sure :-). Robert sure did a great job putting on this match. Those little medals for high targets are really cool.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the two gravel tornadoes. I think you were lucky enough to be in the pits then weren't you?

It was nice seeing everyone again and I am looking forward to it again.

Chris.
