BPTRA Creedmoor Nationals

RE: BPTRA Creedmoor Nationals
No I was on the line with you. Luckily I was thru shooting, when the big one hit, and hadn't opened my line box when the first one came thru, so I didn't have any ammo that got filled with dirt. Think Eddie had 3 or 4 rounds so sanded down they wouldn't chamber even after he wiping them clean. The Wallinger brothers stuff blew clear off the firing line.
Looking forward to next year for sure.

RE: BPTRA Creedmoor Nationals
You're welcome Mike. I'll probably do a little better write up on it in a day or two, just a lot of other stuff going on right now.
One of the best parts of this match is there were 4 new to long range target rifle shooters on the roster, at least 2 of them are hooked pretty good, and maybe the other 2, time will tell I suppose.

I believe that Robert is planning on having the nationals the 3rd weekend in September again. So I believe that would put practice day on Sept 18

Don: If I'm one of the shooters that you're referring to as being "hooked", you'd be correct.... Hook, Line and Sinker!
I just received a new 45-90 (45 2.4....sorry Big Grin ...) 34" Hvy Octagon Shiloh purchased just for this. Unfortunately, all my reloading/casting stuff is 1,100 miles away at the moment; load development will have to wait 'till I get back to it in the spring. Certainly looking forward to more opportunities to shoot BPTR at Cheyenne, Worland, Byers and possibly Phoenix in March.

Thanks to all who have offered their guidance and constructive criticism so far in this journey. I greatly appreciate it and look forward to more.
