I think that many of us are waiting for the end of winter, I know I am, and I am getting yet another dose of it this weekend here in PA.
I am also interested in hearing how that Hepburn shoots. Also would like to know what molds came with the rifle.
I am currently very slowly working on putting together a .44-77. I have a GM 3.5 weight barrel but am still undecided on what action to have it mounted on. My choices are a Pedrosoli Roller I got as a kit many years ago or to have it fitted to my CPA 44 1/2.
OH well one of these days I will make up my mind, hopefully just after I secure a reamer.

One mold is a PJ 44001 504gr.@ 25/1
Second one is an Accuate Aluminum #447445B 456gr.@25/1
Both very easy to use.

Bob, I will be very interested to hear how that accruate bullet shoots, I looked it up and its a nice looking bullet. As for the PJ mold, I have little to no doubt that it will shoot well, I have never heard of any of his molds producing a bullet that doesn't work well.
Thanks

RE: Hepburn 44/77
Finally got a chance to shoot this thing on paper.
Put the scope on headed out in the wind.
Shot both bullets with 75.5 gr. Swiss 1 1/2Fg,CCi BR-2's & DGL lube.
Off of a make shift bench, in very windy conditions,both loads shot under 1 1/2 moa. at 200m.Big Grin The Accurate bullet shot very,very well. 7 of 10 in 1 1/2" W x 2 1/2" H.
New to me Oehler 35P chrono. was bitchyAngry,so no data. Hope it is just a battery. 1st shot vel. was 2456fps.Huh
Will try chrono. again.
Have some Olde E. on the way,to try. Located some here in CANADA!!!Big Grin

Big Grin Long live the 44-77
What flavor of Eynsford did you get ahold of? I've been really liking the way 77 grs of the 2 f has been shooting with all bullet weights in my rifles.
