Is that a Turnbull gun ? Looks mighty fine indeed . Did it start life as a Browning ? Very nice... and just the right calibre for rabbits ! Errrr..large rabbits.

... Thanks. Yes ..I just wondered as I thought the later Winchesters ( of oriental extraction ) .. had tang safeties. Doesnt really matter though as that is one beautiful looking rifle. Be interested to hear how she shoots too. 1/20 " seems quick for a 50 ?. Certainly shouldnt need many follow up shots.
