RE: PJ, C'moor vs PJ, Postell in .45 cal.
Kurt, when you have a chance. Would you tell me about this reamer and how it is different from what Kirk at Shiloh cuts his bbl's.
Thx,
Gary

Gary I don't know what Kirk uses.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

I am ordering a new mould this week and I believe I will go with the PJC. Jeff had lent me his mould, but he needed it back.

You won't be sorry with a PJ C'moor mould
You'll just wish you had ordered one sooner is all

Kurt,
Reading about your throat reamer has sparked an interest because I have a 45-90 Shiloh on order right now. With this new reamer are you still able to seat the grease groove bullet in the case with all of the grooves hidden? I'd really like to know more about it if it keeps the leading down in the throat.

Kurt,
I meant to say, with the use of your new reamer are you able to seat the bullet in the case with all of the grease grooves hidden and still be able to touch the rifling with the first rider band?

RE: PJ, C'moor vs PJ, Postell in .45 cal.
I have two PJ Postell moulds. Both are .459" diameter. One has a .449" diameter nose, and the other a .447" diameter nose. Perhaps the smaller diameter nose would eliminate leading in the standard Shiloh throat. Any thoughts on this?

RE: PJ, C'moor vs PJ, Postell in .45 cal.
Why do you feel the leading is from the nose?
Does one lead more than the other in the same bbl with the same load?
Rub some lube on the bullet nose just before you chamber and see what that does.
