What are you using for base brass? If I recall Dean S. said he was using 303 brit.

45-70 brass and run it through a sizer die , cut it off and chamfer the mouth ,then fireform
sounds like Mr. Scoggins is using the 40-50 straight , it is a cut down 40-70 ss.

He could of been using the straight design, don't rightly recall much but the little mousefart pop it made when the thing went off.

I am still forming cases so havent settled on a charge yet but I am thinking the bottleneck will giive it a bit more ooomph

thats a case of olde E 2F going off, cleanup after 40 rounds 2 patches ,, thats good stuff.

yesterday in the wind at 600 it was doing its part when I did mine ,
I was going to mount a tang on it today but hen I got to the range my base wasnt with the staff , o well , I havent papered it yet I need a bunch of brass,

Sounds like it might do pretty well when you get the cases formed and get down to some serious load development.
