Montana Extreme Bore Cleaner
I must not of had enough coffee this morning. Began to clean a Winchester 264 mag with this new stuff that our esteemed moderator so often recommends and then ignoring my fair background in chemistry I just took a big whiff to maybe see what was in this magical elixir.
Holy Mother of God....it bout blew my head off! That has to be just 1M Ammonia solvent grade! Wasn't expecting that but boy am I awake and sinuses cleared!

LOL.
Sam just to be clear (snicker snicker) the Montana Extreme stuff I like so well is the Cowboy blend... I do have a couple of jars of the stuff you use for sniffing salts, but have not tried them...
Their BH209 cleaner does work exceptionally well with BH209.
I also really like their Accuracy oil, bore conditioner.
A wise man can always be found alone. A weak man can always be found in a crowd.
I have a can of the ME Copper Killer, also very ammonia heavy. Normally I take a deep breath, open the can, wet the path and get it up the bore, put the lid back on and then step away and breath. very nasty smelling stuff but it does do a good job of taking copper out of a barrel.
