C. Sharps High Wall single set trigger problems
When I drop the lever and open the action, the hammer goes to full cock, then I close the action, push the set trigger forward and it gets set, then I pull the trigger and it just clicks, hammer does not fall. I’ve adjusted the set trigger both ways all the way and it just does the same thing. Is my sear broke?

Probably best to call Pat and tell him what's going on.

Will it fire in single trigger?

Probably best to call Pat in the morning and tell him what's going on. Sounds like the a spring problem or something hanging the fly up.

Tang site screw just below the hammer was screwed in too far and was hitting the spring.
I just got this rifle. Bought it used. The guy said he only fired it a few times. Said his eyesight was to poor to see through the sights so he sold it. It looks brand new. I had C. Sharps run the serial number. Made in 1999. It has a #4 Badger 30” barrel. 45-70. Can’t wait to shoot it.

Good to hear it was a fairly simple fix.
