We learned a lot and enjoyed being there. Sort of cool to have the big kids allow us in their company! The winds didn't help me any but neither did my own dumbass. Note to self, if you can't see a bullet strike, lower sight settings till you can! Enjoyed meeting you Chris.

RE: Wyoming BPTR results.
Well I pulled into the cabin last night and got all of six months of shooting supplies up in the loft. Brass is cleaned as of this morning. Still hoping to make the Lone Tree match in Montana this weekend but need to get my trailer out today. Really enjoyed meeting Don and the rest of the crew. Had not pulled butts since 1975. And didn’t have anyone as entertaining as Kenny back then. I probably shot to my capabilities or maybe even a little better. Wish I could see a run-down on the equipment list to see where I fell among the iron sights. I know one thing for sure, Steve was at some disadvantage with me as a spotter, due to ‘experience’ and to advanced glaucoma. If I’m still allowed to drive by next year I’d sure like to do it again. Wish I had taken a picture in the pits but I did get a couple above ground.

John I think Steve, Kenny and Cheri were the only scope shooters, but don't hold me to that
It was awfully good to meet you, and hopefully we meet again sooner rather than later.

RE: Wyoming BPTR results.
Thanks Don. I don’t suppose it makes much difference from the little I’ve seen. Only BPCR I’ve ever won I scored same as the Scope Winner (would not have won that but a couple of our better shooters sat it out or were traveling to other matches). But on average it seems like they are a point or two pts higher than irons. Was hoping to make myself feel better about my lecture of x-rings:-) Still have no scope experience other than three load development sessions at the range and I managed to invalidate results on the first two. I know it’s not that complicated but I’m still a little intimidated compared to irons.
I fell apart on the second 300yd or was it that I just shot above my head on the first. The 600 now, that had me about half buffalo’d before ever I sat down on my stool. It’s one thing to knock a ram over but paper tells on you with less mercy! Was grateful I only had one miss there.
Sure was good to put some faces to names! Enjoy this crowd!!
