Henry RIfle
I been looking for a new toy. I would like to have a 1866 Henry in the .44-40 and I'm very surprised that Henry does not have it in their inventory.
Or haven't I looked in the right places?
I don't want to go to Italy and I cant afford the originals.

Hi Dean.

I wont go import with this one. The 60 was a week one but I thought it would be nice to kick up some dust with it and I have a 6 gun that has the same caliber so I don't have to carry different rounds.
I will probably go with the 92 in the end.

Kurt check out CDNN investments, when you look thru their online catalog they have some take down 92's for a very good price.

Don.

Those are Chaparrals that look like Winchesters.

Do they not have anymore of the Winchester 92's? Wouldn't surprise me at the price they had them at.

I saw that take down for $1000. I would just as soon give a little more for a real one.

I had an I talian Henry for several years in 45LC. Good shooting gun.

RE: Henry RIfle
Hi Mike. Welcome.

Was it the 1860? The American Henry Co. to my surprise does not make a 60 model that I can see. They have just about all configurations on lever rifles but not the 1860.
Maybe it's because of the weak toggle action.
