Malcom scopes
I'm sure someone here has had experience with one of these, what do you have to say of them. Does the rear mount use the rear dovetail like the front mount or does it have to be drilled and tapped.

RE: Malcom scopes
You really don't want one of those. While the optics are good, the mounts are junk, and you'll end up putting the thing in either DZ or MVA mounts, so might as well just spend your money once.

Don summarized it well. I had one and would never ever recommend it.

Howdy Mr.Long
I have had one for 4 or 5 years,First put it a 40-65 Rolling Block ,I didn't want to drill an tap the barrel ,It bent the rear mount ,so I bought a Sliding rear Mount it bent that too. Then I put it on a1885 win, 38-55, it worked ok on that but it was a pain the butt to see the adjustment settings, I took it off an rests in the gun vault.
Going back the first Mounting the rings were so rough it scratched the scope tube.
Over the years I have literally mount 50 or 100 scopes I never had one scratch a scope tube.
