Caldwell target camera
I was browsing Midway a while back and they had their new target camera system and a seriously reduced price...
Well it's an interesting contraption. It does appear as tho it will work. We used it at 200 meters today while I tested the trigger adjustment on the Hepburn. It showed those 40 caliber bullet holes just fine.
I did learn a good bit about where I want to place the camera and transmitter next time. I'll put it out further in front of the target. And I hope to figure out how to get the iPad to save the picture....
Anyway if you're interested in one of these things, I would sure recommend this outfit.

RE: Caldwell target camera
At the 600 recently, I got to see a like camera system in action.. The shooters set the camera slightly off to the side of the paper targets they were aiming at. The receiver was connected to a laptop. Their program numbered the bullet holes and stored desired results. Small holes, .223 etc. were easily seen on the laptop screen. I liked what I saw,

They are neat little toys. I think they will help a ton in load development.

Here's an example of the clarity of the target cam picture.
BlushGroups not so hot, but the wind was twitching all over the place, just like the shooter was..

I just might get one of those cams. Then I would re join the Milan club with their 600 yard range and set it up in the pit that way Carolyn wouldn't have to pull the target.

Did you use the CPA .45-90 on that target?

That target was 200 meters, working with a new bullet in the 44-77.

That cam looks like it's the cats meow. Have you tried it at extended range yet?

Nope, haven't had the chance to try it at long range yet. Weather has been the pits, it's been sitting here for over a month waiting...

Here's a picture from 600 yds. I was using my Android phone today. It actually received the signal from the transmitter with out the extra receiver, but I thought it best to have the added signal strength and used the receiver tower.

Really great quality picture Don! How close do you have the camera to the target? I may have to get one of those.
