That's good to hear. Think'n a 12 volt car battery could be an extended power supply.

I just might get one of those cams. Then I would re join the Milan club with their 600 yard range and set it up in the pit that way Carolyn wouldn't have to pull the target.

Did you use the CPA .45-90 on that target?

Shot the CPA today at 1000 yes, think I found the load to take to Raton

Kurt and Guys, I support using this camera er rather some friends cam. I have buddy that invested in one of these and is generous enough to show it off and allow other (trusted) people to shoot at his expensive equipment. One thing we learned while using the cam is that it can detect a near miss. That is it will identify the trace of a shot in view just off the paper. We were shooting at 300 yards and for economy had posted 4 small pistol target centers so each could use a new target. While elevation set by my log was on windage for 1st shot was bit (yea ;-) adrift. The cam image displayed a white dot off the backer indicating bullet path. Sight Correction was readily made and 2nd impact was on. Therefore using this outfit can be productive and time & round saving. For price of a lunch this camera system was a great asset.

In addition to above target cam,
While on topic of High tech range stuff (I know some might fear such mojo) I also have another good friend that purchased the radar chrony. We held a wonder R&D session using both these whizz-bang items at same session. The fact that after brief set up both units did not intrude on operations was great. The Chronograph beyond recording velocity data can be readily moved beside each bench. So multiple users can gain info on there loads. Since there is no down range "fiddling" after placement the line is not disturbed either

This device could be used at any range or event to allow competitors to proof loads at certain velocity level even if range is only a dirt pile located safely to one side of main event.
