RE: The Quigley
Our friend Kurt hit 38 targets at the Q, and finished 15th overall.
Not bad, not bad at all! Congrats,
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

RE: The Quigley
Thank you Jim.
The new rifle and load shot well. I had a little problem getting my timing down for the off hand in the gusty winds on Sunday, but that was my problem not the rifle and load. heck I even rubbed Wes's head to give me some of his fine shooting skills
It was a good shoot and I think I have some Mt. grass starting to grow under the forearm from the dust I didn't get cleaned out LOL.

RE: The Quigley
Hey Kurt, Rubbing Wes's head must have helped, you tied him!
And Don, You should have been there just to watch me hit the bucket, the metal bucket, not the wooden one. I finally hit it a couple of times. The big .44/90 did right well. That's not an easy shot for anybody. Of course, if it was easy we wouldn't be crowin' about it. Shoot sharp, Mike

Kurt,
Rick.
The rifle is a very good shooter. I almost got the chamber to tight for the for the once fired cases I used. I had a few rounds that where to tight to chamber but the once that chambered worked well. They need to be shot once or twice again before they will fit.
I developed a eye problem at Baker and had to run to Miles City and see a Ophthalmologist and she advised me to not shoot for awhile till it heals. I'm on my way home now to get a second opinion and let them work on it close to home if it needs to be.
Hell getting old.
The good news is I found a Mint 93 Marlin in a .30-30 caliber and it followed me home:P
