Go with this one:

Most accurate cartridge I have ever fired in over 60 years of shooting....bar none! I shoot either a 123 gr. Sierra HPBT or a 130 gr. Berger VLD and it's accurate all the way back to 1400 yards!! And...that's using ONLY 38.5 grs. Varget powder. Great barrel life to boot. Lapua cases only require resizing and I've got some I've fired over 20 times and they're still good!!SmileBig Grin

Here's what it will do from 1000 yards:

Groups like this from 1000 yards ARE NOT uncommon shooting the 6.5x47L cartridge!!

Rick.

I made it look prettier in the 50+ years I shot it by letting the bolt striker drag over the comp to let it wear a groove in it Big Grin

I always favored the 6.5. The heavy barreled 264 win was a short lived tack driver. It ate the Heart barrels like candy but it was a good shooter.
That 47 looks interesting, it would make a good coy dog gun. I hear them screaming at night and my neighbor took three during deer season. Saw one bedded down on the side of the hill in the sun yesterday and just about turned around to get the .308 and take care of him.
I will save that drawing if I decide getting a reamer made.

The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
