RE: Hello All,
Great,
Thanks Don. And...umm...well I did make a mistake with one order couple weeks ago. Got some Missouri cast bullets while lookin thru Graf's and, well, they're just way too hard @ 18 BHN. And I don't even know how or with what they're hardened. They're also coated. Figured I could throw a couple in summa my pots while I'm castin but not sure, or just send em to someone who might use em with smokeless for hunting.

Otherwise don't know what to do with em. Cheers, Doug

RE: Hello All,
Ok Don,
Just didn't know whether it'd be worth the leading. Ordered summore powder and am including Swiss to compare w/ OE. Maybe that'll add sum MV to these hard casts? Guess KIK woulda been the way to go but didn't find any at Graf's.
Asked NEI to add the 349F PJC mould to my Ideal Postell Replica order. That'll be it for moulds for now. Ordering the Lyman 124, 132, the PJC, and the Saeco 645 from Montana Bullet works for comparo and to gage my casts. Starting off w/ the 415 gr and 500 gr ammo from BACO to introduce myself, then on from there. Leanin toward the Lyman #2 alloy if the MBW bullets seem to like their BHN of 15 against nose slump, but will be starting w/ 20:1. She arrives today.

RE: Hello All,
Save your money and forget the Lyman 124. It is too short and won't shoot worth a flip in your 1-18 twist Shiloh. The 645 and the lyman 457132, as well as the Lyman 457125 will both shoot very well in the 18 twist. It takes a bullet of 480 grains or better to work in the 18 twist. Shoot straight, rdnck.

RE: Hello All,
If you go with the NEI I would suggest you go with the Meehanite blocks and stay away from the Aluminum. They have a tendency to expand when they over heat.

RE: Hello All,
Thanks Kurt, I did go with the meehanite and it was only marginally more, so little so that it was automatic. But the BACO moulds or others might be aluminum, so I'll need to watch for that.
Well Nuke, seemed to me in my reading that there was a perpetual tug-o-war b/t the Postell and the Creedmoor, and I have to admit to succumbing to the mystique around PJ, the rifle, and the sexier profile--if these were a pair of shoes I'd opt for the C'moor. NEI doesn't accept credit cards so the order got put in limbo. Instead, they emailed me the request for payment via email per Paypal. Think for now I'll save $150 and just get the Ideal Replica Postell of Walt design that Kurt pointed out (but w/o adding the C'moor). And it was either that or the BACO mould of the 132, so def gotta go w/ such a recommendation when you can get it. And I gotta save a little $ cuz now I need the thermometer since the temps will affect shrinkage, esp'ly when usin just 20:1 or such.
Thanks all, Doug
