I cant say for sure what I used for paper on them. If the paper is .0018" it was 100% cotton Southworth cockle finish.
Those bullets have been sitting on the shelf for several years as well as the GG.
The PP are most likely .001" under bore.
You would be served well with PP at groove diameter if you're willing to reduce the powder load. They shoot very good.
I shot groove diameters in the .45-120/3-1/4".
I'm going to shoot the .40-70 as well as the .40-65 more next season for the midrange and silhouette and up at Merrill and Rapids as well as Alma and Friendship if the two good doctors get my eyes fixed again. Big Grin Closer to home.
