I got the second replacement sensor for the CED today because I felt that the unit I repaired might not have been compadible with the new one, so now I have two new once

I did my last and final test with this Olde E powder and I have to honestly say that I cant find fault with it. Today I compared it to the Swiss 1.5 and the Olde E 1.5.
88.2 grains of Olde E takes up about the same volume of 98 gr of 1.5 Swiss. The average velocity of Swiss was 1390 fps with an ES of 26 fps pushing a 501 grain .432" PP bullet patched to .438".
The 88.2 grain 1.5 fg Olde 1393 fps with an ES of 23 fps.using the same bullet. Pretty close volume for volume I would say. But I can get a few more shots from a pound can of Olde over Swiss.
The first shot with the Olde printed high @ 1 o'clock so I shot 6 rounds at that target. I should have put that shot in the berm.
I wont say what those groups are for size because I have a hard time believing it my self.

The big group on the lower left target is what Don has been asking about.
I shot 12 rounds "dirty" using a 475 gr Sharps RN CB bullet patched .0025 under bore. I could get off six rounds with hard thumb pressure the other six I had to use the cartridge seater and when I did this the group started to open up. I could feel using the tool that I pushed the lube wad out of the case so most likely the patches didn't release causing a bunch of wild fliers. One thing I did do and that was change the wad stack because of the ES over 40 fps I had on the first chrono reading. I thought that I might had some gas getting by because of the hard alloy bullets I used. This might have been the case because the ES was cut in halve.
Don,
NOTICE, the group went left and high shooting dirty
END OF TEST!
