Gentlemen, where are you getting your pure lead from? Last time I bought some I got it from brassandlead.com. Just curious. I casted up this morning 110 50 425s, 110 50 473s, and 110 40 265s. I noticed my lead supply is getting dangerously low. Smile

Thanks guys!

RE: Lead
Lately I've been getting 30-1 alloy from Buffalo Arms. Very quick delivery. I also like the alloys from John Walters, at thetinwadman@cox.net. Shoot sharp, Mike

http://www.rotometals.com/ Just got some 20-1 from them but am sure they have straight lead as well. First time I have ordered from them and was fast shipment. Midway and BACO were out of stock last I looked on the 20-1.

Hey Rowdy, BACO has 20-1 now. I just ordered another 50 pounds of 30-1, this conversation reminded me that my stash is getting low. Shoot sharp, Mike

Mike,
Thanks for the update. I have always ordered my 20-1 from BACO and have very good luck with it. But were out of stock on my last order so tried the Rotometals and well pleased with them as well, plus the free shipping on $100 or over was nice as well.

RE: Lead
I've bought some from our local junkyard before. They said it was pure lead, it ended up to be some nasty stuff. I still have a bunch of it. Might have to head back down and see if they have anything good now.

Thanks
Stephen
