Stevens 44
Got an original Stevens 44 with a 26 inch round barrel in almost perfect condition off of GunBroker. The blue on the barrel is still good, the case color is still there but fading, the breech block is dark blue and you have to snap the lever up.
It had been drilled and tapped for scope, so I got my Leatherwood in the DZ mounts mounted, and using some old Federal target ammo had absolutely no problem keeping them all in a standard 22 chicken sillouette at 25 yds..Big Grin
Very happy, maybe get a picture up tomorrow.

Surprisingly the front dovetail is the same size as a Shiloh. Hole spacing on the tang looks to be 1.6 and takes a 6x48 screw.
