Olde Eynsford test at Phoenix
Today, was practice for the Amwrica's Cup match. At each yard line after getting my elevation zero I then tried a couple rounds loaded with Olde Eynsford too the same volume (close) wt was 104.2 grs vrs my standard load of 110.8 grs. Of fg express. At 800 the Eynsford required 2.5 moa less elevation, at 900-1000 the olde 1.5 required 3.5 moa less elevation. I conclusion along with Steve Rhoades who was spotting my shots was the stuff seems too shoot well.
Compression was the same as I use in Express .385 to .400. It was quite warm at 900 and 1000 and the fouling pushed easy 3 wet 2 dry for pp fouling control.

On par with my load in the switchy winds it held elevation that's my gage it will am sure need tweaked recoil was more so sure could drop it down a grain or two.
It is interesting stuff.

Been using the stuff in the 40-50 and am really happy with it . Vol to volume it is 1minute higher than Swiss at 200and weight wise it is 5grains less. I am using the 1.5 .and 2F
Also it does well in the 44. I didn't like the recoil impulse in the 2&7/8 but it was accurate and clean.

I haven't used much 1.5 OE. In fact I still have a few cans left when Jerry first stocked the OE. I settled on the 2Fg and 3Fg. The 3f is the best for the .45/2.4 and the .44/2-5/8. I have gone through 75 pounds of the 2f and as long as it shoots like it does now I will keep using it.
The KIK is a very good powder and it will also stay with me also.
