1877 Sharps
I suppose everybody has seen the new Shiloh slobber book in the mail today.
Looks like the 77 is going to be reasonably priced, but dang no 44 chamberings.Undecided

Big Grin You probably need to whip up a batch of German chocate treats and send to the girlsBig Grin
Carol is making her peanutbutter fudge that drew great reviews from Big Timber..

I am curios as to why they didn't offer any 44 chambers tho?

No 'drool book' here yet ..but looking forward to perousing it all the same when it does make it down here. I'm sure there will be a reason and all will be made clear in due course ..but on my dream card, a 44/90 BN was looking mighty inviting. What calibres are listed Don..if you dont mind me asking ? ... I might be interested in a 45 x 2.6 or 2 7/8" ..but a 44 would have been my first choice.

Don, Is Shiloh chambering any of the .40 BN calibers in their new 1877 rifles? Just curious.

..O.K. ..well it arrived today. The 'slobber book' ..aka. Shiloh 2014 catalogue. It seems I'm destined, somehow ..to commit ( or should be committed ) to a No.1 model 77. A 44 cal would have made the decision easier however. Now...40/90 BN or 45 x 2.6. Man they sure make some beautiful rifles . Now.. lets see.. forgo a Quigley trip or two, sell a rifle I dont want...now that's tuff. Time to think about it though.
It's mid afternoon on the 31st down here in convict land so I'd like to take this opportunity wish all on this forum a healthy and Happy New Year. All the best to you and yours for 2014. Wink
