Someone said they kept getting the 404 not found on their old link to Captech. Well I did some digging around, found them still on facebook and they had a link there to the new website.

It's good to see them getting back up and running.
Maybe they will get the .44-77 brass again soon, but they have .44-90 and it can be cut down too.

Yeh I see they have 50-90 and 45-110 as well.
Hopefully we'll see that 44-77 pretty quick. I have an order in for 200, and last time I talked with Kathi she said she had it right in front of her and would let me know when it came up.

Grafs has the 3 1/4 cases on sale, could get a Lee 45-70 trimmer chuck it up in the drill press and turn them into 2 7/8 in a heart beat.

or get an rcbs file trim die.
you can hacksaw off the excess, and tidy up with a file fairly pronto.
deburr inside the case while in the die.
set the die a bit long to start, as these dies produce cases about 0.010" shorter than spec for liturgation reasons.
i usually adjust the die down to the shellholder, lock the ring, and then put a fair ammount of skip's shims under the lockring.
form a case, measure it, and then remove the required no of 0.001" of shims for the correct length.
i have formed quite a few 45/2.4" pp adaptors from norma 31/4 brass like this.
