Been having a couple of coyotes lurking about the calving pasture the last few days. But tonite they were right here in the corral out south of the house. I grabbed the mini out of the feed truck and slipped around the windbreak and they were still prickin around. Finally got the gun balanced and the handlantern lit one up, the gun went off and the bitch dog did a flip, couldn't get on the other one.
But at least there's one less worry tonite.Big Grin

Had to update the title, that mini 14 always has been good for night fightin coyote... Got one of those led handlanterns , really lights them buggers up.

Bring that setup over to my place and see how it works on big cats.
Kathy saw a cougar cross in front of the car on the way home last Sat.
I don't need anymore stray cats in my back yard Smile

The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Don't like seeing those model A green headlights when you're out there on foot at night....

Have to be a bit cautious around here, as the action is usually out in the middle of the calving pasture.
