Steel is fun to be sure. But if you skip one in to a steel target it counts the same as one that's a "pinwheel" Skip one into the x ring, and it's a miss...

Is it that way in bpcr too. A knockdown is a knockdown longbas it's the right one?

Not sure I follow you here.
But if you're talking about silhouette, yes if you knock it off the rail and it's in order its a hit. Doesn't matter if you hit it in the foot, the nose or the tail.
