RE: Bill Goodman
Grab it, how cool is a Sharps rifle with it's own wiping stick on board?

I know, I'm not helping, I'm here to enable.Smile

Thanks! Like I really need a push! If we hadn’t just gone on an Alaskan cruise I would have posted “ look what I bought”

LOL, my Wife just returned from an Alaskan 12 day cruise with four of her girlfriends and one of their Mothers, when asked if I wanted to go, I replied, "will they stop the boat, let me get off and shoot a moose?" nooo, she said, okay, I don't want to go ; ]

Seriously, way to much estrogen for a rooster to be traveling with that many chickens.

Really? We went on one start May 25....the Norwegian Bliss if I remember. ONe thing I learned that these cruises are for people that just like to ride ships....there really is no time to do much ashore.

Yes Sir, really, I've traveled the world enough for work, no more for pleasure, if I have to go that far for anything, it's going to be with a rifle to shoot something.Smile

We had a good time and while I did not get to spend enough time on land I did see enough to know I will be back. I told my wife the next trip will be a black bear hunt where you stay on a boat and take a small boat to glass for bears and go ashore to hunt.. You can fish off the big boat. It is kind of like a cruise.

I sent the final payment for the rifle so it should be here soon! Of course now he has a Shiloh Hartford .50-70 with a heavy half octagon barrel! Good Lord help me! Gotta slow down, I still have the Winchester 71 at Tyler’s Gunworks and have been talking to John Powers about building a Flattop Ruger 10mm/.38-40 convertible. Trying to get the bucket list done while I can still enjoy them

A shout out to what a fine gentleman Bull Goodman is. I sent him an email when I sent the final payment to him and he emailed me back that they are expecting some serious snow up his way and didn’t want the gun to be delayed getting to me so he shipped it already! Just one of the reasons I like dealing with him
