Wyoming State Midrange championship
Hi all
Hope everyone has had a good year since our last shoot.
We are planning on the shoot being the third weekend in May (18th & 19th).
There will be camping on site as before. No water nor electrical hookups.
I will open the gate and leave unlocked on Friday the 17th.
We are thinking of having a side event of a gong shoot if there is any
interest. The ranges on this would be from 100 to 890 yards.
For those that have not been here in the past this is a midrange shoot.
There will be 200, 300 and 600 yard targets. It will be held at the
Worland Shooting Complex.
If you could register early or let us know that you are planning on coming
helps us to plan ahead.
If you know of others that may be interested please feel free to forward
this to them.

If there are any questions you may contact the following.

Thanks and hope to see you here.

Yup! I just need to get my paperwork from the American gov't and then my invite letter and I'm good to go.

Hopefully everything works out and we see you there Chris.
Eddie and I got rooms at the Sunsetter. Was the only place in town that wasn't already booked for that weekend.

You are not camping at the range this time?

I am watching the passes. If the weather is good then I'll take our little trailer, otherwise it might be tent time.

I liked that KOA in Greybull. Not a bad commute, but they have a no-firearms policy now which sort of ruins the place for me.

No we talked about it and decided the way the weather is on again off again, might be like 2017 and have to wait for the roads to open to get there, and hard to say whether or not the road into the range would be passable with the motor home. Difference between fuel costs and the motel isn't that great anyway.
There is a campground across the highway from the motel, might want to look it up if you're inclined to bring the camper.

I hope the roads are better than in 2017 :-). I got stuck in Butte for the night and only made 1/2 of the distance I'd planned for the day. It was snowing hard enough that they closed the Homestake Pass.

I don't mind driving in snow, but I'd rather not be pulling the trailer :-)

Yeh but when we all got slogged thru the snow and mud to get there, it was good weather to shoot in.

I'm still waiting for my paperwork from the ATF so I can get across the border with my rifle. My fingers are crossed that I get it before Monday as I want to hit the road Tuesday.
