Where did every body go
Confused ??Sure has been quiet around here. The summer must have been a busy time for everyone. I know it has been for me also with a couple trips out to Montana and Wyoming plus through the concrete jungles east of the big muddy has been keeping me busy putting miles on the Gypsy wagon. I haven't found range time for quite a spell so it has been easy on the lead and powder plus the weather has been rough around these parts with tornado's tearing through and better then 7" of rain in less then a week plus more coming. But that is OK because the Mississippi is way low making it hard to get back in the back waters where the good fishing is.

Geeze Kurt, sounds like some tough weather!

I just opened a new gun store with a good friend of mine so I have been working my tail off getting things sorted and off the ground. We just got our smokeless powder license (through the state labor dept. here in NY). There's always plenty to do.

I haven't been shooting so I need to remedy that before I go completely nuts. I should keep shooting that flintlock to prep for deer season.

Yes Hanz we had one rough night but the rest of the week it has been calm but a lot of rain has been falling. We again got 2 3/4" over night making the total now since last Monday stands at 11 1/4".
You guys west of me turn those windmills around and have the blades push the clouds north or south. I can't keep up mowing the grass.

RE: Where did every body go
We had a neighbor get killed a couple years ago loading round bales on a trailer when one rolled off and crushed him.
Sp be careful hauling them in and stacking them.

RE: Where did every body go
Yup those bails are weighty for sure
We stack them with the tractor using front forks and a stinger

Yup those missing souls are most likely burning powder in a vain attempt at improving their shootingSmile

While those of us that consider further improvement to
be an avoidable extravagance prefer to contemplate on the next rifle and its design and ultimate perfect performance on the silhouette range while we patiently for their return
