Buffalo Arms
Am I the only one who has difficulty using their web site? I tried to order some cartridge case soap and the felt wipers,it won't let me check out.No shipping method is available and I have to call them to order. It's soap and wool for goodness sake.

Their new web site really sux. I love buying from them but this web site makes it hard to do. I really liked the old site better. They are the best in the business IMHO but I find myself buying less from them because the new site is so frustrating.

RE: Buffalo Arms
I have no trouble finding what I want/need it's irritating to not be able to complete a transaction for very basic items and have to call them. I had 10lbs of O.E. 2 in the cart and had thought they didn't like combining shipping.I removed the B/P and started over still wouldn't let me check out. Ended up just ordering the powder from Graf's,cheaper and zero issues.B/A is the sole purveyor of many items I use, so now I get to play on the phone with them, how's is this efficient ? The logic escapes me.

BACO's old web site was a pleasure to use. Let's hope things get ironed out with their new site. Shoot sharp, Mike

As a business person I would suppose Dave is keenly aware of the new web site short comings and would also suppose he's keenly troubled by it. It represents his business after all. A business person weighs on a daily basis the paths we take our business. We hope for the best, it doesn't always work out the way we might have hoped. This new site will in time be that good old site and we'll forget the day. Meanwhile, my phone works if I have troubles with technology. Buffalo Arms/Dave et al, are an asset to us. We'd be smart to support them the best we can.

I never used the old site to order from, just found the item numbers of what I wanted and hopped on the phone and called. Matter of fact I find it very good to call, if you do it in the morning, they usually ship that day.

Answering the phone all day can't be an efficient use of time for Dave. That's one purpose of a web site -so you don't have to answer the phone all day; that time can be better utilized running the business. They always have gotten my web orders out right away. They tried to fix something that wasn't broke. They tried to improve their web business but this ain't it; the old site was much more web business friendly than this one. I hope they got a money back guarantee from the website company and can replace this site with one that is user friendly - they got snookered on this one. My past orders show that I would MUCH rather support BACO over anyone else.

I don't know if you answer the phone to take an order that amounts from 100 to 500$ plus isn't a bad use of time, and most certainly helps pay the employee's wage that is hired to do just that...
