RE: A little primer information
Next time I get to a gun shop I will pick up a brick and give then a try.
I have a 10 pin for turkeys using WLR primers Big Grin The little cookie munchers like them so I gave it along with 5 pins for everything but the pesky chicks Smile

Don those RP primers are nearly impossible to find up here, but I recently did some ( grease groove ) bullet shooting with 70gr of OE 1.5, and the BACO 459530M4 bullet and it worked well with the BR2 primers. I haven't tried any others with that load though :-)

RE: A little primer information
Chris I was wondering what your primer situation was up there.
Can you take primers back with you?

Sort of. The Canadian government allows me to bring them in, but the U.S. gov't requires an export permit which would make them too expensive. I have sources for most primers now, but just not a constant supply of the RP ones.

Fortunately I can generally get Federal LP and LR match.

Was wondering what sort of hoops you'll have to jump thru. I know where you could get a brick of the Rp's if you wanted to try them.

Thanks for the offer Don. I'll just stick with the primers that I can get easily. I generally have Federal Match, anything CCI, and WLR around so it's not too bad.

RE: A little primer information
If you want to work with the primers you have. Try a piece of coffee filter paper over the primer at the bottom of the case.
I run br2's and when I tried the paper over the primer deal. My 500yd target said it was the thing to do.
The coffee filter paper leaves no ash, like cig. paper does.
