Practice targets

Found these on the "net" the other day, so I ran some off and give them a try at our weekly community indoor shoot and dinner. Might be a way for folks to keep their hand in the game waiting for the matches to get fired up. Shot at 50 ft, the sight picture is really close to what it is on the real range.

Big Grin Looks like the pesky chickens are a problem no matter what the range Smile
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

RE: Practice targets
OK Don, now you done it Smile Your practice target got me thinking. Why not. Been looking out of the windows and this is better then anything.
I went out and set up the target at a measured 60 feet but I could not make out the little black dots on the paper well enough with the tang sights so I put the DZ scope on the CPA 22 and set the parallax for 20 yards and got a zero on the lower ram.
I must say that it's not much of a challenge using a rest and scope at 20 yards but I walked down the line and when I got to the ram I used for finding my zero I went for the head shot.
Now if I could just do this at a match Smile The rifle and ammo is capable of doing it.
It was fun. We will have to start a internet match going Smile

77 degrees here today Kurt, the 44-100 sounds like a better idea.

But first a dab of SPF-50 Coppertone before I go prone...
