Thanks Gary, you being a Ca resident whats the match schedual here in Ca and rifle requirements as I will only be using the 45-70 trapdoor?

Not a clue-No range near me holds BPCR shoots.
FWIW: I use Starline cases in both the '70 & '90. I do anneal the case necks.
I also do a 'lite' F/L size. That is done with a .45-90 F/L die on the '70 and a .45-110 F/L die for the '90.

Not really up on the subs, so can't help much there.

Jim, Order your black powder from Powder, Inc. Subs might be easier to find but that is their only advantage. When considering black powder loads, there's nothing like the real thing. Shoot sharp, Mike
