Mold for .32 winchester special
I just recently came upon a pre 64 Winchester Model 94 in .32 WS, circa 1954. Does anyone have any input on an appropriate mold and load data?Smile

Parker, For a mould the RCBS 32-170 is a very good one. My favorite is the old Lyman #321297 but I don't think that's on the list nowadays. However, if you want to shop a bit you can usually find a used #321297 on eBay. Buffalo Arms shows the RCBS bullet in stock. Size the bullets to .321" and both of those styles accept gas checks which I do recommend. For good powerful loads, try using either of those bullets over 30 grains of #3031 powder. I have a Model 64 in .32 WS and that's a favorite for it's accuracy with cast bullets. The .32 Specials used a 1-16" rate of twist which was the same as the .32-40s, very good for cast bullets. Here's hopin' you have good luck with your new rifle. Shoot sharp, Mike

Thank you. I was looking at the RCBS at BACO also.

Have a Happy New Year!

I got to go dig out my records, but I think it was my model 64 in 32 special that lI couldnt get enough elevation using the barrel sights to shoot a silhouette match. I really like the 64's tho. Shooting a 219 zipper now.
