Hi folks, continuing the paper patch investigations i decided to try to attempt to get the standard Shiloh chamber to act more similar to a "tight" Paper Patch chamber-----------i have a friend that had a variety of 45 caliber basic brass and some 45/120 cases, so i talked him out of them to trim to 45-70 length in an attempt to get brass with a case larger case mouth wall thickness----the results are tabulated below:

Old Reliable--------------0.009/0.010

45 Basic BB--------------0.011/0.012

Norma 45-120------------0.014/0.015

Bell 45 Basic--------------0.014/0.015

my regular RP brass measure 0.009/0.010

Full length sizing and fire forming next--------the resulting cases should accept a 0.450/0.451 patched bullet with a case mouth diameter of 0.478/0.480
