And, now for something completely different!
Nice day yesterday so I shot something very different from my norm. Moving some boxes a few days ago I discovered the lost box of hard cast .357 semi wadcutters I've been looking for since my move several years ago. Sized and lubed ready for loading. Box of BACO 511-500 FN ready to go, loaded ammo for my Gallager and 46 rounds of ammo for my Smith carbine. (still can not find my paper ammo for the Sharps). Gave my Garrett 63 Sharps, ERMA Gallager and Pietta Smith a fresh cleaning last week. The Smith got to go to the range. Posted the 25 yard timed and rapid target at 50 yards and settled in for some off hand practice. First 2 rounds printed high in the 6 ring. Adjusted my hold and shot a 10 at 8 and 2 7's at 7. Shot up the remaining ammo and had some in the black and a bunch around it. Pretty light iron for off hand and my wobble is still pretty big, but is was great fun! Loaded about 10 years ago for the last Plainsman side event I shot in CAS competition. Have to load them up again and get the Gallager out on the range soon. Now if I can just find my supply of paper ammo for the Sharps. ( I might just have to roll up some fresh ammo for it!)
