I don't know much about Mini's except what I use. I did see several different types at the yearly collectors show and I saw some on the table marked Barnard used in a enfields. They resembled the ring tailed bullets used in the percussion sharps and they had more lube rings.

I use a mini in a .010 deep 70 twist .58 caliber barrel and it shoots quite well in it.

Don or the rdnck might know more about them.
