RE: 45/70 bullet

Thats a bullet of my own design. Five hundred grs. at 30:1, 0.30" meplat. Its 1.230" long and carries 3.0 grs. of SPG. When loaded over 73.0 gr of Swiss 1.5, the group for 5 shots is around 6" at 200 yards, using the barrel-sights on my Shiloh, without the use of a blow-tube. Thats min. of buffalo ... good enough to hunt with!

And it drops antelope in their tracks,

Jim

That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!
