OOOOO that's cold Dave Smile
Good job to all involved.

Dave
Take Al's advice and keep the format unchanged. Any long range format would have been a challenge yesterday. I had a great time plus winning a couple pounds of Swiss at the end was icing on the cake. Thanks to you and the club.Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Yesterday it was not the hits you had it was the misses you didn't have, you know the glass is half full thing.Big Grin

Much as I'd like to take the credit, Buz Coker foots the bill and does all the coaching. I'm just glad she took this up instead of what most kids think is important.

I found it interesting that the two Brians both beat their daughters, normaly that wouldn't be nice but as good as them girls shoot, Good shooting guys.

So Dave, are you saying daughters need a good beating occaisionally to keep their egos in line or what? My point on the 2& 4 switch was I couldn't figure if the 1&2 shapes which appear larger to my eye are actually easier to hit than the 3&4 targets or if I just had a harder time trying to beat the wind at #4. At any rate it was a great match and I enjoyed it anyway. bobw

RE: Mt 1000 yds - Kurt - 07-15-2013

It's great shooing at a match where there 68 shooters enjoying the misses Smile with no bickering or complaining about anything but seeing dust kicking up Smile
I enjoyed the shoot Dave and I think I found the right trail leading home finally.

Targets 1&2 are square and 3&4 are octagon but 2 & 4 are about 5 inches bigger than 1&3. about the daughters, just saying them two gals can out shoot any of us guy on most days and they are only going to get better.

RE: Mt 1000 yds - Freedom - 07-15-2013

I had a Great Time!! You boys sure put on a nice shoot!

I owe A big part of it to Bryan...The transfer bar broke on my rifle right in the middle of the second target string, so I was out of the race.

Shadow4 stepped up and offered to share his rifle with me so that I could continue in the contest,,,THANK YOU BRYAN (Brian?) It was a tough time had by most trying to keep rounds on target with the light/switching winds...but it sure made for a lot of laughsTongue
