RE: Baldwin sights
A few months back I was looking for a front-sight w/ inserts. I e-mailed Baldwin from their website, no answer. I did locate a phone # and called them. No answer, but it did ring somewhere.

TNX. Jim.
I been doing this also with no luck.
I have a new rifle coming that will need a new sight. I have a couple front sights of his on my Sharps and I really like them because they hold the insert in tight and a good view of the level.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Kurt,
Get a Distant Thunder globe sight in either mid-range or Long Range, whichever applies. I like mine.
I looked and yes, Buff Arms has discontinued the Baldwin line. I called his shop phone per the current website - recorded "call back later" message. So I called Dave Crossno about 5 min ago and he says as of this AM, Sep 5, 1024, Steve B too busy to tell ya how busy he is and alive and well (as well as can be expected for the seasoned citizens group) and all that stuff.
And just now, Steve called me (he was taking a hand loading break) and we chatted for several minutes. Long story short - all is OK with Steve.
